Happy New Year to all of my readers!
As you know, I’ve been working with the ARC system for my office daily calendar, my Bullet Journal and now my cue cards. The photo to the left shows 6 half inch discs holding together a block of about 60 cue cards. If you’ve used cue cards to plan your story before you know how important it is to be able to adjust your cards placement. It’s also important not to loose any of your cue cards. This system allows you to write the scene (or chapter) details on one side the blank side of the card is available to sketches or additional notes.
This way you can write out your cards in whatever order you want. Have a great idea for a scene after the Midpoint, write it out on a card. You can rearrange the order at a later time. When it is time lays your cards you can pull them free of the rings and when you’re done you can snap them back on rings in the new order. I recommend that if you still use paper cue cards give this a try – you may like it as much as I do.
